Meet Donna.

My name is Donna Loranger and I am running for New Hampshire State Representative in Rockingham County, District 25, otherwise known as Salem. I have lived in Salem for 25 years. I love this town, and I want to give back to this community. I do not believe the current NH House Reps speak for the majority of Salem families, small businesses or the rights of its citizens.

I ran twice for Budget Committee and was successful both times. I know I brought my work experience to the table and was able to change some of the minds on the BudCom and made a difference. This past March, I was elected to the Salem Town Charter Commission to add a new voice in the evaluation of Salem’s Town Government, defeating several top Republicans in the town. I am also on the Board of Directors for Salem Family Resources, an outstanding non-profit organization founded by Cindy Jury that focuses on early education by supporting those in need in Salem. I am amazed what this organization does for young families.

Next year, the NH State Legislature will face unprecedented challenges as a result of this past Republican led legislative session. In order to approach these challenges and come out stronger, we need honest and fair leaders who believe all voices should be heard. Whether it’s women’s health or affordable housing, gun safety or fiscal responsibility, I will be a new voice from Salem. As a recently retired project manager, I know how to listen to all sides and encourage knowledge-sharing to find the best solution for everyone.
